Internships and research experiences help students apply classroom knowledge to real-world projects while building technical and professional skills. Many internships are open to sophomores, juniors, seniors, and graduate students, depending on employer requirements. Opportunities may be paid, part-time, full-time, or eligible for academic credit.

Acxiom, a leader in customer data management, identity, and the ethical use of data for more than 50 years, is looking to hire students from University of Arkansas at Little Rock for internships.
Internship Characteristics
- Acxiom offers both cohort internship experiences (Spring and Summer) and occasionally off-cycle internships (depending if there is a unit at Acxiom that has a specific job need).
- Juniors, Seniors, and graduate students are welcome to apply. International Students are welcome to use the CPT process/regulations to take advantage of an internship. Also Acxiom needs students from a variety of backgrounds (computing, business, data management, analytics, social sciences, etc.)
- Acxiom does like to offer permanent positions to their successful, graduating Interns. Acxiom will sponsor successful international students for jobs.
- Most internship positions (95% approx) require at least some in person attendance at their Conway Campus. While many interns do not need to be on the Conway Campus 5 days a week, they should expect to spend at least 2 to 3 days in residence.
- Typically Acxiom will have about 30 internship job openings each recruiting season that they are hoping to fill.
- Students should make sure that their resumes are complete and up to date. Also students should add dates such as when they expect to graduate from their current degree, any plans for graduate school, etc.
- Acxiom has their career website, which is a good play for students to learn about the internship program and to apply for positions. Acxiom also uses Handshake and the WayUp career site
Spring Internship Recruiting Schedule
- Intern job postings will appear in early September (e.g., September 2). Students should submit their resume and applications early since a number of positions (particularly the technical ones) will fill quickly to capacity.
- Interviewing with candidates will take place September 9 through November 15. The Spring internship experience will start January 13, 2025 and run through May 2025 (typically ending when the semester ends).
- Students are expected to work 20 hours a week.
- Acxiom will be at the October DCSTEM Career Fair but students should plan on applying much earlier (i.e., early September) to have the best shot at being hired.
Summer Internship Recruiting Schedule
- Intern job postings will appear in early February (e.g., February 3). Students should submit their resume and applications early since a number of positions (particularly the technical ones) will fill quickly to capacity.
- Interviewing with candidates will take place February 10 through March 14. The Summer internship experience will start May 19, 2025 and run through August 2025 (typically ending around the time of summer graduation).
- Students are expected to work 40 hours a week.
- Acxiom will probably be at the Spring DCSTEM Career Fair but students should plan on applying much earlier to have the best shot at being hired.
