We host the Arkansas District 7 History Day competition annually for students in Pulaski (south of the Arkansas River), Saline, Garland, Hot Spring, Grant, and Jefferson counties. Contact Kristin Mann, firstname.lastname@example.org, for information about sending students to the competition.
The 2021 History Day competition, Communication in History: the Key to Understanding, took place Saturday, March 6, 2021. The 2022 History Day competition, Conflict and Compromise in History, will take place on March 5, 2022.
Information for Middle School and Secondary Educators
Each school may send a maximum of 5 entries in each category.
Junior Division (grades 6-8)
Includes individual historical papers, websites, documentaries, exhibits, and performances; junior division group websites documentaries, exhibits, and performances.
Senior Division (grades 9-12)
Includes individual historical papers, websites, documentaries, exhibits, and performances; senior division group websites documentaries, exhibits, and performances
