Professor Geiselhart teaches in the fields of contracts, government contracts, Business Associations, and Freedom of Information. Prior to joining the faculty of the Bowen School of Law at the University of Arkansas at Little Rock in Fall 2024, Professor Geiselhart was an Assistant District Counsel with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers. In his position with the Corps, he worked on government contracts for some of the biggest projects in the country, from Everglades Restoration work in Florida to the renovation of Department of Defense military hospitals around the world.

Professor Geiselhart also developed and taught courses in government contracts and the federal Freedom of Information Act for Bowen beginning in 2021. Professor Geiselhart’s research is concentrated on the theory and practice of government contracting, along with its relationship to private contracting. In particular, his research investigates the role that public procurement plays in public policy and in achieving public purposes, as well as the differences between public and private contracting

Professor Geiselhart is a graduate of the Washington University in St. Louis School of Law, and a former Cannon Fellow in Higher Education and Health Law at Washington University in St. Louis. He is a member of the Missouri Bar.
