UA Little Rock has proudly participated in Model Arab League conferences for approximately 10 years under the direction of Associate Professor of Political Science Dr. Rebecca Glazier. Since its establishment, the program has grown from 8 members to 24 members.
UA Little Rock’s MAL Team has attended multiple conferences at the University of Houston-Clear Lake and at Georgetown University. In addition, UA Little Rock MAL attended an International Model Arab League Conference in Morocco in 2016, and attended the same conference in 2019 with 17 students.
Winning prestigious awards at regional, national, and international conferences, UA Little Rock’s MAL Team has been consistently competitive with other large universities. Over the past few years, UA Little Rock has even taken home distinguished delegation awards from the National University Model Arab League Conference in Washington, DC, the most competitive and prestigious Model Arab League conference in the world, a true testament to the growth and strength of the program.
