UA Little to host event for Washington, D.C. alumni

The University of Arkansas at Little Rock Alumni Association will host its fourth annual party for all UA Little Rock alumni in the Washington, D.C., area Thursday, July 27.

The University of Arkansas at Little Rock Alumni Association will host its fourth annual party for all UA Little Rock alumni in the Washington, D.C., area Thursday, July 27.

The celebration will take place from 6 to 8 p.m. at Beacon Bar and Grill, 1615 Rhode Island Ave. N.W.

In addition, UA Little Rock alumni Jeff Dutton and Bryan Goodman will host a reception from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m. Friday, July 28, at Dutton’s home in Washington, D.C.  

The reception will raise money for the Stonewall Endowed Scholarship fund, which provides scholarships for UA Little Rock students who raise awareness for the lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and queer community.

Since 2010, seven students have received scholarships totaling $13,000.
