French Consul General to visit UA Little Rock
Alexis Andres, Consul General of France in Houston, Texas, will visit the University of Arkansas at Little Rock for the first time on Monday, Feb. 12.
Andres’ campus visit is part of an extended visit to central Arkansas, during which he will be attending an event at the Clinton Library on Sunday, Feb. 11, related to the library’s temporary exhibit “The Great Expedition: Exploring the Louisiana Purchase and its Impact on Arkansas.”
He also plans to meet with Gov. Asa Hutchinson and the Arkansas Economic Development Commission.
The consul’s visit to UA Little Rock will begin with a reception at the Bailey Alumni Center with Chancellor Andrew Rogerson and Provost Velmer Burton, followed by a presentation at the Arkansas Small Business and Technology Development Center in the College of Business and a tour of the university.
