In conjunction with new measures instituted at the Jack Stephens Center during the 2017-18 season, University of Arkansas at Little Rock Athletics will expand its implementation of the clear bag policy to Gary Hogan Field, effective for the 2018 Little Rock baseball season. 

The policy is intended to allow fans more convenience and flexibility while still enhancing public safety and minimizing time spent searching bags at security checkpoints, allowing easier access to the park.

The Little Rock Athletics clear bag policy permits Trojan fans to bring otherwise permissible items into Gary Hogan Field by using:
– Bags that are clear plastic, vinyl or PVC and do not exceed 12″ x 6″ x 12″ or
– One-gallon clear plastic freezer bag (Ziploc bag or similar) and
– Small clutch purses no larger than 4.5″ x 6.5″, the size of the palm of your hand, with or without a handle or straps.

All clear bags and clutch purses will be screened prior to entry into Gary Hogan Field. All bags and purses not meeting the above requirements will not be allowed. Although permitted, childcare items, including diapers, must also be carried in an approved clear bag.

With the implementation of the clear bag policy, coolers and other food containers will not be allowed into Gary Hogan Field. Admission gates will open two hours prior to first pitch.

Fans carrying required medical supplies or devices into Gary Hogan Field are not subject to the clear bag policy, but will be asked to have their bag checked at their entry gate for a thorough screening of the bag and the medical items. The person requiring these supplies or devices must accompany the bag at all times.

Working personnel, including media and professional scouts, will not be subject to the clear bag policy but must present a credential when entering Gary Hogan Field and will have their bags screened prior to entry to the park.
