UA Little Rock releases spring group fitness schedule

Visiting scholar, Huang Li, from Huaxia University in Xiamen, China teaches tai chi for the fitness center on Jan. 20, 2016, in DSC. Tai chi is an ancient Chinese tradition that, today, is practiced as a graceful form of exercise. It involves a series of movements performed in a slow, focused manner and accompanied by deep breathing.

For those looking to stay healthy or trying to put a new spin on their exercise routine, the University of Arkansas at Little Rock Fitness Center has released its spring 2019 group fitness schedule. 

Workouts include Zumba, water exercise, yoga, line dancing, boot camps, and strength and conditioning. Most fitness classes run during the lunch hour, evenings, and on weekends. The classes are held in the Fitness Center in the Donaghey Student Center and run through May 14.

Monday: Strength & Conditioning, Noon – 1 p.m., Activity Room 2
