Sacramento Kings invite Josh Hagins to NBA Summer League
Former University of Arkansas at Little Rock basketball guard Josh Hagins will play for the Sacramento Kings in the 2016 NBA Summer League in Las Vegas.
Hagins will report in early July, with practice set for July 3-7. Games will be played July 8-18 at the Thomas & Mack Center and Cox Pavilion on the campus of UNLV.
Hagins enjoyed a banner year as a senior in the 2015-16 season. The four-year letterman was a First Team All-Sun Belt and NABC All-District pick. He finished his senior season averaging 13.2 points, 4.7 assists, 4.2 rebounds, and 1.5 steals per game.
He ended his career ranked third on Little Rock’s all-time scoring list (1,475 points), third in assists (468), third in steals (179), fifth in made field goals (525), and fifth in made 3-pointers (175). He played more games (128) than any player in program history and trails only Derek Fisher on the program’s list for career minutes (3,496).
Sacramento will play at least five games, beginning with its first contest set for Friday, July 8, against the Toronto Raptors at 9 p.m. Central at Cox Pavilion. The Kings next game will be on Sunday, July 10, against the Houston Rockets at 5:30 p.m. at the Thomas & Mack Center. The final preliminary game for the Kings will be on Monday, July 11, at 7 p.m. against the New Orleans Pelicans at Cox Pavilion.
ESPN will present all 67 games from Las Vegas across ESPN2, ESPN3, ESPNU and WatchESPN.
