UA Little Rock to celebrate Homecoming this weekend
Join the University of Arkansas at Little Rock as the university celebrates Homecoming weekend with volleyball and basketball games, tailgating, food trucks, and fun.
The weekend events kick off with the annual Cardboard Boat Regatta at noon Friday, Nov. 10, in the Donaghey Student Aquatic Center. Participating organizations will sail their handmade cardboard boats in hopes of staying afloat throughout the competition.
Show your Trojan spirit at Friday’s Pep Rally beginning at 6 p.m. in the Jack Stephens Center. Afterward, the UA Little Rock women’s volleyball team will go head to head with Arkansas State University at 6:30 p.m. and celebrate senior night.
On Homecoming Day, come tailgate with Trojan fans from 11 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 11, outside of the Jack Stephens Center. The Trojan Alley Tailgate will feature inflatables, music, a photo booth, and more. Food trucks from Katmandu Momo, Little Penguin Tacos, and Black Hound Bar-B-Q will also be on site.
During the tailgate, the Golf Cart Parade will take place at 12:30 p.m. in the Trojan Lane. Alumni, students, faculty, staff, and fans are invited to march to the Jack Stephens Center to cheer on Little Rock’s teams.
The Trojans men’s basketball team will take on Ouachita Baptist University at 3 p.m. Saturday in the Jack Stephens Center. Homecoming Royalty, individual competition award winners, and the Champions’ Cup winner will be announced during the game’s halftime show.
Homecoming will conclude with the women’s basketball game against Memphis at 3 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 12, in the Jack Stephens Center.
