Policy

Transcripts are issued only at the request of the student and must include the student’s signature. Transcript requests should be made at least three working days prior to the desired date of issue. A $5 fee per transcript must be received before a transcript will be issued. No transcript or other evidence of attendance is issued to or for a student who owes money to UA Little Rock. Transcripts that have been presented for admission or evaluation of credit become a part of the student’s permanent record and are not reissued. Transcripts from other institutions, if needed, must be sent to UA Little Rock directly from the original issuing institution.

Transcripts may be requested one of four ways, in person, by fax, by mail, or online. When faxing or mailing a transcript request you must provide a telephone number where you can be reached in case it is necessary to contact you. Also provide any other names that you may have used while attending UA Little Rock. Don’t forget to sign your request. A transcript can only be released with the written authorization of the student. Identification will be required for transcripts picked up in person. In addition, official transcripts are not issued unless all obligations to the University are cleared. Official Transcripts normally take three business days to process. During busy times of the year, the process may take longer.

There are four methods of payment: check (made payable to UA Little Rock), money order (made payable to UA Little Rock), cash, and credit card (except American Express). If paying by credit card you will need to contact the Cashier’s Office at 501-916-5540. Once you pay you will be given a receipt number that you will submit along with your request.
