Former players donate to baseball program
Gary Hogan touched the lives of many people during his 11-year tenure as baseball coach at UALR. Not only did he transform a patch of dirt and rocks into a Division I baseball facility, but he was a mentor to his players and a prominent figure in the community. Now, in appreciation of his efforts, two former players and a supporter of baseball in central Arkansas have combined to give the UALR baseball program gifts totaling $270,000. Read More...

Trinity Foundation Makes Largest Academic Endowment In History of UALR to Donaghey CyberCollege
Trinity Foundation announced today a $6 million endowment for UALR’s Donaghey CyberCollege allowing the school to add mechanical and electrical engineering tracks. The gift – the largest academic endowment in UALR’s history – allows UALR to meet one of the top goals identified in the Metropolitan Little Rock Commission’s Angelou Report issued last year. Little Rock Chamber of Commerce President and CEO Paul Harvel said the announcement was the most significant business development announcement of the year. “This building is four years old, and we’ve had tons of meetings in it, but this is absolutely the most important one we have ever had because it’s about the future,” he said.
