The location of UA Little Rock Downtown in the River Market district (333 President Clinton Ave.) offers an easy access to the heart of the city of Little Rock. It also allows the University to enhance its ongoing partnerships with downtown institutions, from the UA Little Rock Center for Arkansas History and Culture to the Central Arkansas Library System and its Butler Center for Arkansas Studies, Downtown Little Rock Partnership, Little Rock Regional Chamber of Commerce, UA Clinton School of Public Service, Little Rock Convention Center and Visitors Bureau, the River Market, Ballet Arkansas, and others.
University affiliated (internal) and external groups can reserve the main event and/or the mural room, depending on availability. All reservation requests are subject to categorization and approval by the Downtown Usage Committee. If you are interested in reserving our space, submit this inquiry form or email us at downtown@ualr.edu.
Due to the historic and sensitive nature of Joe Jones’s mural, all reservation requests must specify the event type and purpose. If requesting the mural room, the stated event purpose, theme, and/or intellectual content must align with the themes and character of the space.
