Geology students have the opportunity to travel with our faculty to several national parks as part of a spring course.
On odd numbered years, we offer a Geology of the National Parks course. In 2023, students were able to travel during spring break to Big Bend National Park and Carlsbad Caverns National Park.
Upcoming national park locations will be chosen by our faculty. These field experiences enrich classroom learning and allow our students to explore fascinating landscapes.
