Applying for scholarships at UA Little Rock is an important part of your college journey. Incoming freshmen and transfer students only need to apply for admission to UA Little Rock in order to be considered for most of our institutional scholarships (institutional scholarships are the ones that come from the university).

Philip L. Kehler Endowed Scholarship
Awarded to full-time or part-time students majoring in geology. Applicants must demonstrate academic accomplishment. Financial need will be strongly considered. This scholarship is renewable; recipients must reapply annually. Apply through Scholarship Universe (SU).
William Jay Sims Endowed Award
Awarded to full or part-time student majoring in geology. Preference is given to non-traditional students. The award shall provide assistance for any education related expenses, including but not limited to tuition, books, and fees for students pursuing or furthering a degree or continuing education in geology at UA Little Rock. Apply through Scholarship Universe (SU).
Katherine and Ryan Palludan Memorial Endowed Award
Awarded to full or part time student. Preference is given to a student in the state of Arkansas who has exhibited strong community service and leadership and is working toward a degree in one of the following majors: biology, nursing, geology, or anthropology. Academic accomplishment and financial need will be strongly considered.
Central Arkansas Gem, Mineral and Geology Society (CAGMAGS) Field Camp Scholarship
Awarded to students majoring in Geology at UA Little Rock planning to attend Field Camp. Applicants must write a two page letter detailing academic accomplishments and financial need. Scholarship receipients must agree to present a summary of their field camp experience at a CAGMAGS meeting.
