Computation and Networking Support

GIT’s computer group provides research-related Windows/Mac/Linux and network support for groups in science and engineering departments. For example, we support computers attached to scientific instruments, and we are involved in small- to large-scale research projects that use Linux and open source software. Chris Austin focuses on Windows and Albert Everett generally works with Linux. Both staff members are familiar with Macintosh and OS/X. We often work on projects together and can function as a liaison between researchers and the campus ITS department.
