UA Little Rock soccer team announces dates for summer camps

The University of Arkansas at Little Rock women’s soccer program has announced the dates and times for their upcoming summer camps in June. The camps will take place at the Coleman Sports and Recreation Complex at UA Little Rock. 

UA Little Rock will hold a soccer day camp from 9-11 a.m. June 10-14 for $120. Day camp is for boys and girls ages 5-14 years old and focuses on the technical and mechanical training of the individual player. Improvement on the vital skills involved in soccer such as shooting, crossing, passing, dribbling, and finishing are emphasized. There will also be a focus on larger group training and game related situations. Each day will finish with games. This camp is designed for any level of ability with players grouped by age and ability levels.

Additionally, the soccer program will hold ID camp for girls in grades 8-12 from 5-7:30 p.m. June 14 and 9 a.m. – 4 p.m. June 15 for $100. The camp is centered around a high level of training to help campers understand what it is like to play at the Division I level.
