At the request of the Faculty Senate President, Dr. Joanne Matson, the Policy Management Board reviewed the following policy and voted to decommission it from UA Little Rock’s Policy Library. UPDATE to Class Scheduling Guidelines – LR 605.1 & Calendar and Schedules – LR 514.7

On May 17th, 2021, Chancellor Christina Drale approved the following update to the following policies: In summary, the update merged the two policies to prevent duplicate information and removed the afternoon class start time of 3:05 pm from the MWF schedule. In compliance with the university’s Policy on Policy Management, the decommissioned policy will be UPDATE to Class Scheduling Guidelines – LR 605.1 & Calendar and Schedules – LR 514.7

Decommissioned Policies Effective January 25, 2023

On January 19, 2023, Chancellor Christina Drale approved the following policies to be decommissioned from UA Little Rock’s Policy Library: LR 207.1 – HIV Infection LR 402.11 – Degree Requirements for Instructional Personnel and Employees LR 505.1 – Collegiate Success Program Effective January 25, 2023, and in compliance with the university’s Policy on Policy Management, Decommissioned Policies Effective January 25, 2023

New Mobile Device Security Policy- 208.7

Chancellor Christina Drale approved a new policy, Mobile Device Security – 208.7, on July 30, 2021. UA Little Rock implements necessary controls, technologies, and devices to secure information systems and critical data in UA Little Rock infrastructure. Mobile devices are an inevitable part of our daily lives, and they are used to conveniently perform UA New Mobile Device Security Policy- 208.7

New IT Security Awareness and Competencies Policy – 208.8

On July 28, 2021, Chancellor Christina Drale approved a new policy, IT Security Awareness and Competencies – 208.8.  This policy was developed to ensure all employees are competent with IT security best practices and are familiar with IT security threats.

Revised Tuition and Fee Adjustments Policy, 303.3

On July 29, 2021, Chancellor Christina Drale approved the revision of the Tuition and Fee Adjustment Policy, 303.3.  The policy outlines the tuition and fee adjustment process at the University and will help comply with internal audit recommendations.
