On May 17th, 2021, Chancellor Christina Drale approved the following update to the following policies:
- Decommission Class Scheduling Guidelines – LR 605.1, and merge with;
- Calendar and Schedules – LR 514.7
- Update to reflect the current schedule: “The start times for MWF afternoon classes shall be 12:15, 1:40, and 4:30. The class block shall be 75 minutes long.”
In summary, the update merged the two policies to prevent duplicate information and removed the afternoon class start time of 3:05 pm from the MWF schedule.
In compliance with the university’s Policy on Policy Management, the decommissioned policy will be removed from the online Policy Library and retained by the policy coordinator for archival purposes.
