You are also welcome to watch this youtube video which goes over exactly how to register! Then feel free to follow the instructions below:
- Register in the SRCS-Expo App as a Judge
- Under “Browse Projects,” you will see all projects organized by the judging time and location.
- To sign up for a project, click the maroon “Judge This” button. If a project you want to judge is full, this option will not be available. Please choose a different project.
- Projects are organized by the time of presentation.
- If you are available, consider signing up for the alternate judging slot to judge showcase projects that haven’t been evaluated by 2:00 PM. This is at the bottom of the projects list and a project number of NA.
Important and Additional Details:
When signing up to judge, please note that we have TWO times to judge Creative and Scholarly Showcase projects this year. This is to allow presenters time to see others’ projects. As such, these need to be judged in the designated hour.
Presentation and Performances will only be performed ONCE. So, you need to be available during the exact scheduled time to judge these projects.
Faculty who wish to judge online presentations may do so either in person or virtually. Please enjoy the flexibility of online presentations.
When actively judging, you will be using this evaluation form.
Other Volunteering Opportunities
If you are interested in volunteering and supporting our students during the Expo (outside of judging), we would greatly appreciate your involvement! Volunteers play an essential role in making Expo run smoothly while also helping create a welcoming, supportive environment for our students as they share their work. Volunteering is also a great way to engage with our campus community, see a wide range of student research and creative scholarship, and be part of an event that celebrates student success.
Please feel free to review the Volunteer Guide and the attached SRCS Expo App instructions. You are also welcome to watch this YouTube video, which walks through exactly how to register: https://youtu.be/or8x4_LwHuE
As a volunteer, you will be able to sign up for roles that fit your schedule, view your assignments, and assist with event needs such as check-in and general support.
Lastly, if you have not been to Expo before, we promise you’ll love it! The students put a lot of effort into their projects, and speaking with them about their work is a lot of fun.
Questions? Don’t hesitate to reach out to us! We are looking forward to seeing you there.
