Funding applications for Registered Student Organizations for the 2026-27 academic year open on July 1, 2026. The window to submit funding applications for the current academic year will close on April 15, 2027, and the last day to request the use of RSO funding will be April 30, 2027. Student organizations may submit multiple applications for funding, but funding is not always guaranteed. Funding applications will be considered until RSO funds have been fully exhausted. If all funds have been allotted, funding applications will close for the academic year. Funding will be allotted monthly on a first-come basis, and RSOs are encouraged to apply early in the academic year for the full amount of funding they anticipate to use.

Instructions for submitting your funding application:

  • Ensure your organization has an up-to-date registration in Trojan Engage. New student organizations must complete the New RSO Registration form, and previously registered organizations must complete the RSO Re-registration form if they have not already done so for the academic year. Additionally, both new and returning RSOs must have a completed Advisor Agreement form for the academic year.
  • Advisors and student members, especially officers, should review the RSO Funding Handbook for the 2026-27 academic year.
  • Before a funding application will be reviewed, two officers and the advisor from the registered student organization, as listed in Trojan Engage, must complete the RSO Funding Certification form.
  • Submit the RSO Funding Application in Trojan Engage, attaching a completed budget spreadsheet where required.

Incomplete applications will not be considered. Supplemental funding applications will not be awarded if previously awarded funding from the 2026-27 academic year has not been properly expended.  Funding applications will be reviewed twice monthly, and at the end of the allocation cycle, you will receive an email detailing the amount of funding you have been allocated as well as instructions for moving forward with your purchases. You will receive all communication regarding your funding application to the UA Little Rock email listed in your application. Please check your email for all updates and instructions.

Note: Submitting a funding application is not equivalent to a request to spend RSO funding. All purchase requests must be submitted through RSO Funding Purchase Request in Trojan Engage.
