C. Drew Smith, Ph.D. is the Study Abroad Coordinator at UA Little Rock.
Dr. C. Drew Smith has over 20 years of experience in higher education as both a faculty member and an administrator. He has several years of experience in international program administration at two universities and has advised study abroad students at both institutions. He has also led several student groups on academic trips to Western Europe. He enthusiastically believes in the importance of the study abroad experience for students.
Dr. Smith lived abroad in Edinburgh, Scotland with his wife and three children from 1998 to 2000. He earned his Ph.D. in New Testament and Early Christianity from the University of Edinburgh. In addition to his interest to study abroad, his academic interests include the study of religion, philosophy, ethics, and interdisciplinary-liberal arts.
