Study Abroad Programs

Finding your study abroad program is one of the hardest parts of choosing to study abroad. At UA Little Rock, we have over 575 approved programs with 6 Affiliate partners and 2 exchange partners.  We hope to lessen that stress by breaking down some of the more popular programs that UA Little Rock students choose by region.

You can always set up an appointment to talk with Office of Study Abroad staff to talk about programs by emailing studyabroad@ualr.edu.

If you are interested in an Internship, Volunteer, or Service Learning abroad, please email studyabroad@ualr.edu for specific information about setting these experiences up.

UA Little Rock has two international exchange partners. This means that if you select to study abroad with these institutions, you will pay tuition at UA Little Rock as you normally do, but will be responsible for working with the exchange institution staff on setting up accommodation, airfare, courses, and the details of your experience.

Our current exchange partners are:

University of Orleans, located in Orleans, France (this is best for French Language Studies)

The University of Nottingham, located in Nottingham, UK (this is new for Fall 2021!)

UA Little Rock also works with seven affiliate partners. These partners work to help you set up your entire study abroad experience. You are responsible for paying them directly, utilizing your UA Little Rock Financial Aid, and/or any internal/external study abroad scholarships you are awarded. These program providers also offer internships and research opportunities outside of the traditional semester long study abroad experience.
