Welcome to the 24th Annual College Board* endorsed Advanced Placement Summer Institutes!
The Arkansas Advanced Placement Professional Development Center at the University of Arkansas at Little Rock welcomes you to our 24th annual AP Summer Institutes. We are excited to host professional development opportunities and will work hard to make the week fun and enlightening for everyone. We will offer College Board endorsed professional development for Advanced Placement teachers in English, social studies, Spanish, art, Computer Science Principles, mathematics and science in June and July 2018. Our slate of classes also include offerings for the teaching of Pre-Advanced Placement in all disciplines. All classes are approved for professional development hours by the Arkansas Department of Education and are free to Arkansas teachers until grant funding is exhausted. A complete list of subjects and the weeks they are offered will be listed on our home page at ualr.edu/apsi later in October. Registration is scheduled to be open Nov. 1, 2017.
As Director for the Arkansas Advanced Placement Professional Development Center, I and Associate Director Dr. Christine Deitz, AP Assistant Director Deborah Cook, and AP Program Coordinator Becky Rogers, will select classes to fit your needs as educators and will contract nationally recognized consultants as presenters. If you have any questions, please contact Deborah Cook at firstname.lastname@example.org or Becky Rogers at email@example.com or call the Arkansas Advanced Placement Professional Development Center at 501.569.3401 or 501.569.3432.
See you soon,
