The 24th Annual College Board* endorsed Advanced Placement Summer Institutes were a huge success!
The Arkansas Advanced Placement Professional Development Center at the University of Arkansas at Little Rock has finished the 24th annual AP Summer Institutes. We are excited to have hosted professional development opportunities and worked hard to make the weeks fun and enlightening for everyone. College Board endorsed professional development for Advanced Placement teachers in English, social studies, Spanish, art, Computer Science Principles, mathematics and science were offered in June and July 2018. The slate of classes also included offerings for the teaching of Pre-Advanced Placement in all disciplines. All classes were approved for professional development hours by the Arkansas Department of Education and were free to Arkansas teachers until grant funding was exhausted.
