Financial Aid Deadline Policies

Priority Deadline

Submitting your Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) results to UALR by this date will enable you to be considered for maximum Campus-Based Financial Aid such as the Supplemental Educational Opportunity Grant (SEOG) and Federal Work Study (FWS) funds.

Preferred Deadline

The following items must be complete by this date in order to allow time for your financial aid award eligibility to be determined prior to the start of classes for the term:

  1. Your Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) results must be received at UALR; and
  2. All required financial aid and admission documents must be received by UALR; and
  3. You must be fully admitted as a degree-seeking student.

If you do not meet this deadline, you may not learn about your financial aid eligibility until six (6) weeks after the start of classes

Final Deadline

Your financial aid file must be complete by this date or you will not be eligible to receive financial aid funds for the term.
