The UALR Center for Literacy accepts applications for training intervention specialists and literacy coaches in the Comprehensive Intervention Model (CIM) until July of each school year.
A CIM teacher is an interventionist with specialized training in the portfolio of interventions within the CIM. The CIM training is offered at two levels:
(1) professional development through certified CIM coaches in school districts or the educational cooperatives; and
(2) graduate coursework as part of a university certificate degree.
