Undergraduate Teacher Education
It is indeed a challenging yet exciting time for educators at all levels in Arkansas and the nation. There is tremendous need for highly qualified teachers who believe all students can learn and who seek to provide classroom environments conducive to learning. You probably remember a teacher who made math so easy or who turned you on to dinosaurs or who always took time to make sure you understood the assignment. In fact, there’s probably a teacher who continues to support your endeavors in college today! Completing an undergraduate degree in elementary education, middle childhood education, special education, or secondary education (education minor) at UA Little Rock will enable you to serve the state and nation in one of the most important professions one can choose ~ becoming a teacher.
