Arkansas Tutoring Corps

Interested in making a few extra dollars and helping students learn? The Arkansas Department of Education in collaboration with the Office of Educational Renewal Zones has launched the Arkansas Tutoring Corps.

Qualified applicants include students enrolled in the educator prep programs in institutions of higher education, retired educators, and current teachers, and community members. All applicants must have completed the training for child maltreatment and background checks as well several hours of training in literacy, math, building positive relationships with students and families, classroom/behavior management, and meeting the social and emotional needs of all learners.
