Launched in 1968, the Association for Information Systems (AIS) is for students planning careers in information systems or related fields. Professional development requires knowledge that goes beyond the classroom, especially in a profession where textbooks may be obsolete before they are printed.
As a complement to classroom studies, the UA Little Rock Chapter allows students to participate in the information technology community and explore various career opportunities. Student chapters represent AIS’s commitment to helping business information systems majors become future leaders in information technology.
