The UALR School of Social Work Alumni Network (SSWAN) is a network that is open to anyone who graduated from the UALR School of Social Work with a BSW or MSW degree. The goals of the network are to:
- Facilitate relationships among alumni;
- Communicate information about the UALR School of Social Work;
- Support the mission and goals of the school.
There is no cost to join the UALR SSWAN. Anyone interested in joining may do so simply by subscribing to the listserv:
- From the email account you wish to subscribe, compose a new email to listserv@lists.ualr.edu.
- Do not put anything in the subject line.
- Clear the message body (i.e., remove your signature) and put the following command in the message body:
subscribe SWALUM your_first_name your_last_name
Example: subscribe SWALUM Catherine Crisp - Confirm your intent to subscribe to the listserv by clicking on the link that is sent to you. You must do this within 48 hours of subscribing.
In the Spring 2024, the UALR SSWAN will hold its first networking event. Information about it will be communicated by email, posted on this page, and shared via our Facebook page.
