Workday Learning

Workday Learning will allow current and new employees to access training materials directly in Workday. All new employees will have the Workday Learning app deployed to their Workday homepage; no action is required to have the app appear. After clicking the Workday Learning app, employees can search for materials and enroll in courses. Employees will Workday Learning

How Do I Create a Position in Workday?

Multiple roles can initiate Creating a Position: Please use the Create a Position QRG to help guide you through the process! After the initial position is created, the initiator will continue the process by editing additional data, you can reference the QRG for Edit Additional Data. Create a Job Requisition!

A job requisition is used to initiate recruitment to fill a position. To post an open position, you must create a job requisition. Once you complete the job requisition and based on your recruiting instructions, the position will post. Please reference the following QRG with instructions to support Recruiters and Recruiter Coordinators doing the Create Create a Job Requisition!

Required for all employees: Pre-hire Request Form!

To make a person an employee in Workday, they must have a pre-hire record and the department needs a position number. Submit this request and the Department of Human Resources will create the pre-hire record in Workday.

Travel Training Available:

Procurement Services is now offering virtual travel training twice a month. This training isn’t just for those with a university credit card, though. Anyone that submits Spend Authorizations or Expense Reports (for travel or employee reimbursement) in Workday is strongly encouraged to attend.
