The Department of Accounting, Economics and Finance holds two Continuing Professional Education (CPE) events each year. The Accounting Society student organization organizes a CPE event every December.

During the Spring term, the department hosts a CPE event on ethics.

CPE EVENT: December 12, 2025

The Accounting Society and Epsilon Pi Chapter of Beta Alpha Psi at UA Little Rock invite you to its annual eight-hour continuing professional education event. The event will be on Friday, December 12th, 2025, hosted via Zoom Webinar. Registration through Zoom and PayPal is now open. If you do not have a PayPal account, you may register using PayPal as a “guest”.

The cost is $150. The proceeds of the event fund scholarships, club activities, service projects, and attendance at the regional and national Beta Alpha Psi conferences.

  • 11:10 – 12:00  Leonell Thompson, Manager, Legal Business Operations at Williams in Tulsa, OK.  “Connecting Ethics and Leadership.”
