Location: UA Little Rock is located in Little Rock, the state capital and business center. The university is close to internship, employment, cultural, and recreational opportunities such as sporting events at Verizon Arena, excellent hiking, fishing, biking, and other outdoor activities. Also near UA Little Rock is the River Market, with its restaurants, museums, shops, loft apartments, and Farmers Market. The River Market offers exciting nightlife options, including live bands, and concerts in the Riverfest Amphitheater, central Arkansas’s premier outdoor concert venue.

Campus: The UA Little Rock campus spans 170 acres in midtown and includes more than 45 buildings, many of them state-of-the-art facilities. The library contains more than 400,000 volumes, 700,000 microfilm items, 8,300 audiovisual forms and CDs, and subscribes to 2,625 periodicals. Computerized library services include card catalog, inter library loan, and database searching. Special learning facilities include a learning resource center, art galleries, radio station, television station, a wireless network that expands across campus, and speech and hearing clinic.
