Dr. Ahmed Abu Halimeh

Dr. Ahmed AbuHalimeh joined UA Little Rock in 2021 as an associate professor in the Department of Information Science. He brings a wealth of experience in computer science and information quality, with over a decade of contributions to academia and research.

Dr. AbuHalimeh completed both his M.S. and Ph.D. in integrated computing at UA Little Rock, developing expertise in data quality, visual analytics, and information systems. His career includes faculty roles at Imam University and the American University of the Middle East, where he led ABET accreditation efforts and supervised numerous student research projects. Additionally, as program manager at Arkansas Children’s Hospital Research Institute, Dr. AbuHalimeh focused on data management, quality improvement, and informatics in clinical research.

A recognized researcher, Dr. AbuHalimeh has published extensively on topics including machine learning, healthcare informatics, and data visualization. His current work centers on enhancing data curation processes and improving data quality in healthcare applications.
