GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF POSITION
Operates end of day “BOSS” processing. Responds to queries, runs diagnostic assessments, isolates issues, determines and implements solutions. Serves as a member of the IT Service Desk team.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Responsible for the daily “BOSS” processing and periodic financial systems related tasks.
2. Responsible for transmitting files to and receiving files from third party applications.
3. Prepare and maintain backups of financial systems.
4. Provide technical assistance and support for incoming queries and issues related to computer systems, software, and hardware.
5. Use IT Service Desk ticketing system to accurately assess, track and route issues; ensure detailed documentation on actions taken, final resolution, work in progress and/or escalation actions required.
6. Develop standard IT Service Desk answers/Knowledge Base entries for common problems and submit for final editing and posting.
7. Follow established IT procedures to operate computers, printers, and other peripheral equipment.
8. Monitor network connections; resolve or escalate network problems.
9. Perform daily review of miscellaneous systems, monitor vendor online access, maintains logs and reports. Track problems and solutions on log to update supervisor.
10. Maintain a professional image, positive attitude, and adheres to standards consistent with company policies.
11. Perform any other related duties as required or assigned.
