Google Meet is a video conferencing service that enables you to join virtual meetings via audio, video, chat, and screen sharing with up to 100 people with no time limits. Telephone dial-in to a U.S. phone number is provided; dial-out is free to the United States and Canada.

Getting Started
Google Meet is primarily used with a web browser, but you may also use Android and iOS mobile-device apps or Chrome devices.
Starting a meeting
University members can start a new video meeting using any one of these methods:
- Schedule a video meeting in Calendar
- Start a video meeting from Meet
- Start a video meeting from Gmail
Joining a Meeting
There are a number of ways to join a Google Meet session, including
- a Google Calendar event
- the Google Meet website (with an optional meeting code)
- a meeting link URL

Eligibility
You must have an active G Suite account to create video meetings with this service. Anyone may be invited to join a meeting, including via telephone.

The Google Meet web application works with the latest versions of popular browsers, including Google Chrome®, Mozilla Firefox®, Microsoft Edge®, and Apple Safari®. Meet has limited support in Microsoft Internet Explorer® 11. Participants on Google Android or Apple iOS devices can use a native mobile app.
If your browser doesn’t support Meet video meetings, you can dial in using the phone number and PIN, if provided by the meeting organizer.

Windows 10 users
Are video participants having trouble seeing or hearing you? You may need to adjust the privacy settings for your camera or microphone in order to successfully use those devices with Google Meet.
