The university web team sets the guidelines and standards for the university website (all sites within ualr.edu), and we are committed to providing our users with an effective web experience. The university website was fully redesigned and launched in February 2025. Read more about this comprehensive project.

Our Website

Research shows that a university’s website is the most influential tool for students during their college search. Our goal is for the UA Little Rock website to be a valuable user experience that positively impacts recruitment, retention, and reputation.

The university uses WordPress as its Content Management System (CMS). The theme is already established and cannot be changed.

Editing Access and Governance

All units are responsible for their web content and are accountable to Communications and Marketing for the timely maintenance of their websites. Units are responsible for informing Communications and Marketing if an author, editor, or site manager leaves and no longer needs access. Failure to do so can result in a unit losing editing access.

Communications and Marketing may revoke editing access for any of the following reasons:

  • Repeated violations of established content and brand quality standards (including the addition of inline styles or other formatting that violates defined visual standards)
  • The discretion of your direct supervisor
  • Extended inactivity; if revoked for this reason, training must be completed again before access can be restored
