Microsoft 365

Microsoft 365 is a communication and collaboration service hosted by Microsoft offered to current students and employees for personal use. Microsoft 365 allows users to install Microsoft Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Outlook, and OneNote applications on their local computers, as well as access to the online versions of the software.

The applications supporting these services and data are hosted in data-centers owned and managed by Microsoft.

Getting Started

All currently enrolled students and current faculty and staff have access to Microsoft 365 which is provided to you by UA Little Rock.

You can log into Microsoft 365 using your @ualr.edu email address and your Active Directory password to use this service or install the software.

Eligibility

IT Services has partnered with Microsoft to offer a free subscription to Microsoft 365 for home/personal use.

Students
The subscription is available to all current students for home/personal use.

Employees
Under the Microsoft Campus Agreement with the university, faculty and staff can download Microsoft 365 for free on up to five personal devices (PCs, Macs, tablets, and phones). This is for at home use on personal devices only—Microsoft 365 ProPlus subscriptions should not be used on university-owned computers.
