The Department of Rhetoric and Writing is involved in the Little Rock community through:
- Internships with local business and nonprofit agencies
- Volunteer activities through the University Writing Center
- Publishing opportunities through the nonfiction journal Quills and Pixels
- Professional development opportunities for K-12 teachers and students through the Little Rock Writing Project.
We are also involved with the Emerging Writers Institute and the Young Writers Camp.
