Take Your Writing To A New Level

The Rhetoric and Writing program at UA Little Rock is pleased to offer Memoir in the University’s Downtown space in the River Market this Fall 2022 semester.  This course does not requires a prerequisite, and is designed to be a fun, one-night-a-week seminar.  The space is sufficiently large to facilitate excellent social distancing.

Memoir (Tuesday evenings)

Greg Graham

Pandemic years 2020 and 2021 will not soon be forgotten. The years of the virus. The years of the “Great Pause.” The year when once-silenced voices rose up and demanded to be heard. What better time to reflect on your story and finally put it down on paper.

Join a community of writers helping each other perfect their craft. Receive coaching from a professor who will engage with your story and respond according to your level of experience.

We will spend twelve Tuesday nights (Aug 23rd – Nov 15th) together from 6:00 to 8:40. We’ll read some published memoirs together, and we’ll read about memoir together, but mostly we’ll write and respond to one another’s writing.

Register for RHET 4318 (63067) or RHET 5318 (63070)
