Summer Laureate University for Youth, the UA Little Rock summer enrichment program for gifted and talented children, is turning 40!

July 8 – 19, 2019, from 12:30 to 5:30 p.m.

Summer Laureate University for Youth (SLUFY) is an educational program that provides unique learning experiences for high-ability students to explore and expand their talents and abilities. The program offers a variety of classes taught by a staff that includes graduate students seeking masters degrees in teaching the gifted and talented, certified master teachers, and other experts.

SLUFY presents high-ability K-8 students with a unique, enriched opportunity to learn through hands-on experiences under the guidance of enthusiastic teachers. Students also will get to meet other talented students, forging friendships that last long beyond the summer program.

Won’t you help us continue the legacy?

  • 40 years of enriched summer courses for children in Grades K-8,
  • 40 years of university-guided creative and inspired instruction, and
  • 40 years of opportunities for children to explore, to innovate, and to make friends for life.
