What happens when ancient legends meet the modern stage? Step into the glow of Olympus in the Spotlight, a high-energy performance laboratory where students transform themselves into “Myth-Fits”! In this exciting performance unit, young actors will reimagine the classic Greek myths and characters to create original scenes that blend ancient history with hilarious modern-day situations. Students will master professional acting skills such as character embodiment, vocal projection, and physical comedy. They’ll also design “Ancient-Chic” costumes that bridge the gap between Mount Olympus and today’s world. Whether you are a seasoned theatre maker or a myth-obsessed newcomer, you will collaborate with fellow “deities” to write and star in world premiere performances that prove the power of the gods belongs on center stage!

During a two-week summer Project-Based Learning (PBL) experience, 3rd/4th-grade students will travel back in time to explore the fascinating world of Ancient Egypt. Students will study the Egyptian timeline to understand how this powerful civilization developed and changed over thousands of years.
Through engaging, hands-on activities, students will learn about Egyptian gods and goddesses and create their own deity inspired by Egyptian beliefs (Create Your Own God). They will conduct a scientific-style experiment using canopic jars, make papyrus, write their names in hieroglyphics, and design their own flail and crook to understand symbols of leadership and power.
Throughout the unit, students will explore daily life in Ancient Egypt, including farming along the Nile, social classes, dynasties, and important leaders. This immersive summer unit encourages creativity, critical thinking, and deep historical understanding while making learning active, meaningful, and memorable.

Have you ever wondered why you suddenly crave a specific snack the moment you see a certain color, or why you cannot get a commercial jingle out of your head? Is it magic, or is it marketing? In this course designed for curious minds, students pull back the curtain on the invisible forces that shape our daily choices. First, we dive into the “Nudge” Lab to explore how color and design can “hack” the human brain. Next, students collaborate in creative agencies to build a Viral Blueprint for a brand-new idea. Finally, we become “Ad-Detectives” to decode the secret psychological tricks hidden in plain sight. From behavioral economics to the ethics of truth-in-packaging, students will move beyond being mere consumers to becoming master “choice architects.” If you’re ready to decode the secret language of the world around you, join us this summer and learn to wield the art of influence!
