Chancellor Anderson issued a proclamation designating September 9-13, 2013 as Suicide Prevention Week at UALR. The staff of Counseling Services will provide activities focused on prevention and survival of suicide. The Chancellor’s proclamation and ceremony held at the DSC mall served as the official kick-off to the week of activities aimed at reducing the stigma surrounding suicide and mental illness.
