- Prof. Jeffrey Condran is a fiction writer (novels and short stories) who describes his work as “literary globalism.” His 2014 novel, Prague Summer, received a 2015 Independent Publisher Book Award’s Silver Medal. He has a collection of short stories coming out soon entitled Claire, Wading into the Danube by Night (Southeast Missouri State Press). Check out Prague Summer. He also has interests in literary publishing and is co-founder and publisher of the independent press Braddock Avenue Books.
- Prof. H.K. Hummel is a writer (poetry, translation, and short forms) who is interested in socially and environmentally engaged literature. She co-authored Short-form Creative Writing: A Writers Guide and Anthology (Bloomsbury Academic Press, 2018), which was featured on the Poets & Writers “Best Books for Writers” webpage. He newest poetry collection, Lessons in Breathing Underwater will be released in November 2019. In 2016 she was awarded an Arkansas Arts Council Literary Arts Poetry Fellowship. She is also interested in literary publishing, and is co-founder of the literary journal, Blood Orange Review (now part of the Washington State University editing and publishing program).
