- Remember, only the courses that are applicable to your degree program can be certified for VA benefits. Also, the VA will not pay for development courses taken online.
- It is highly suggested that you work with an academic advisor and refer to Degree Works to confirm that courses are applicable to your degree program.
- Complete applicable Certification Request Form.
- Please do not submit this form until you have completed your registration.
- Report of Change of Major or Changed Benefit Type
- Complete the Military Report of Change Form.
- This form must be completed if you have made changes to your major, declared a minor, or changed your benefit type.
- Maximize all funding resources
- Maximize all sources of funding by completing: FAFSA application for federal financial aid (strongly recommended but not required).
- Check your preferred and UA Little Rock email
- Check your UA Little Rock email address frequently.
- Confirmation of certifications, issues with course applicability, and other important time-sensitive information will be sent primarily to your UA Little Rock email address.
- Education Center
- Contact your Education Center. Make an appointment with your Education Center counselor to receive assistance with the TA process.
- Register for classes

- MyCAA: Please email MYCAA financial aid vouchers to [email protected].
- Federal Tuition Assistance: If you are using Chapter 1606, you cannot use Federal Tuition Assistance.
- For students utilizing Tuition Assistance (TA) please e-mail your voucher to [email protected].
- NGTW: Contact [email protected] in regards to status or any questions about your NGTW.
