Celebrating 46 Years!
SLUFY is celebrating 46 years of face-to-face enriched instruction! SLUFY is an educational summer program that provides unique learning experiences for high-ability students to explore and expand their talents and abilities. The program offers a variety of classes taught by a staff that includes graduate students seeking master’s degrees in teaching the gifted and talented, certified master teachers, and other experts.
Students will have a unique opportunity to learn through hands-on experiences under the guidance of enthusiastic teachers. Students will forge friendships that last beyond the summer program.

Completed scholarship applications documenting financial need are due by 4 p.m. April 15. Families will be notified by May 1, 2025 of the committee’s decision. Decisions are final.
High School and College Student Volunteers
Student Aides must currently be in high school or college, and have attended Summer Laureate as a student. The number of SLUFY students will determine the number of Aides needed. Aides must be available July 7-18, 2025, Monday through Friday, from 11:45 a.m. – 5:30 p.m.
This summer, there are a variety of assignments and activities for Students Aides to choose. Student Aides are expected to be role models for other students and be able to tolerate the heat. Each Aide will receive a letter documenting their volunteer hours. Apply for a SLUFY Student Aide position.
