Trojan L.E.A.D. (Leadership, Engagement, and Development)

The Trojan Leadership, Engagement, and Development (L.E.A.D.) program is designed to prepare first and second year students of color for leadership in the UA Little Rock community. Through Trojan L.E.A.D., students will:

  • Reflect on their identity, values, passion, strengths, and skills;
  • Learn to define leadership and understand various types of leadership;
  • Connect with leaders from diverse fields; and
  • Complete a capstone project that puts what they’ve learned into action

In Fall 2020, Trojan L.E.A.D. requires a commitment of six weeks, with two virtual sessions being offered each week. Below are the session dates and times; please note that you are only required to attend one session each week:

  • WEEK 1: Wednesday, 9.23 @ 12 – 1:30 pm; Thursday, 9.24 @ 6 – 7:30 pm
  • WEEK 2: Wednesday, 9.30 @ 12 – 1:30 pm; Thursday, 10.1 @ 6 – 7:30 pm
  • WEEK 3: Wednesday, 10.7 @ 12 – 1:30 pm; Thursday, 10.8 @ 6 – 7:30 pm
  • WEEK 4: Wednesday, 10.14 @ 12 – 1:30 pm; Thursday, 10.15 @ 6 – 7:30 pm
  • WEEK 5: Wednesday, 10.21 @ 12 – 1:30 pm; Thursday, 10.22 @ 6 – 7:30 pm
  • WEEK 6: Wednesday, 10.28 @ 12 – 1:30 pm; Thursday, 10.29 @ 6 – 7:30 pm
