The University of Arkansas at Little Rock has demonstrated a longstanding commitment to providing a quality educational experience to a diverse student body. Among the identity groups that constitute UA Little Rock’s diverse student body is the population of students with disabilities. UA Little Rock’s dedication to providing accessible and quality education to students with disabilities is perhaps best evidenced by the ADA Committee that the Chancellor has funded for many years. Funds from this committee are spent on creating and maintaining usable, equitable, inclusive, and sustainable learning environments by improving access to both the built environment and UA Little Rock’s programs and services (this might include accessible computer equipment, for example).
Anyone with ideas about how the campus can be more accessible should contact DRC.
