Academics

UA Little Rock offers more than 60 undergraduate degrees that are housed in three colleges:

  1. College of Business, Health, and Human Services (CBHHS)
  2. College of Humanities, Arts, Social Sciences, and Education (CHASSE)
  3. Donaghey College of Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (CSTEM)

We have a 12-to-1 student-to-faculty ratio with more than 700 faculty members. Our nationally recognized faculty help students pursue their interests with passion, leading to research and internship opportunities and, upon graduation, a successful career.

Cost

UA Little Rock provides enormous value as one of the most affordable institutions in Arkansas. In-state tuition is very competitive, and financial assistance in the form of scholarships, work-study, and grants is the norm for our students. Safety

We take pride in being a safe campus that embraces a sense of community. The US Department of Education’s Campus Safety Security Survey named UA Little Rock the safest campus in Arkansas. Our public safety officers are expertly-trained professionals who are highly visible and patrol campus full-time, 24/7, 365 days a year.

Housing

Your student will find a home away from home if they choose to live on campus. Living on campus provides students with a community and offers the convenience of being close to classes and events.

Each of the four residence halls (North, South, East, and West) and the University Village apartment complex are equipped with such amenities as furnished rooms, internet access, streaming cable, and reserved student parking. Dining Services provides a variety of meal plan options and dining locations, such as the Trojan Cafe, Tres Habaneros, WOW Cafe, and more.

Life in Little Rock

We’re at the center of our state’s government, commerce, culture, health care, and nonprofit industries. There are plenty of local options for internships, community service, networking, and jobs before and after graduation. Little Rock offers big-city amenities with a small-town feel and the university is just minutes away from the natural beauty that is Pinnacle Mountain State Park, and right down the road from arts, culture, and top-rated restaurants.
